Hi all,

Changing the rocker cover gaskets on my ecotec and have managed to loose one of the bolts that hold the covers on, I've looked for ages but can't find it...

... So the question I have for you, will it be ok to run the motor with on 5 bolts (instead of 6) holding the cover on? it will only be for about 15 minutes until I take it to the mechanic tomorrow.

Thanks for you help guys!!

Thanks guys! It definitely didn't fall into the motor cause the rocker cover was back on when I dropped it.... atleast I hope it hasn't! must've fallen under the motor or something, tried driving up and down the driveway hoping it would fall onto the ground but no luck, no doubt it's probably right infront of my eyes somewhere. Cheers again.

I swear to god there is a magical black hole somewhere under every motor where bolt and sockets go to die.

I've got a whole socket set in my motor somewhere.. You can run it without one bolt I've done it before and nothing ever leaked.
