can i use my multimeter to test my amp i thinks its blown a channel if i can use mi multi meter what do i set it too cheers

Nope, you can just run it into a speaker or CRO (cathode ray oscilliscope) to see what the signal looks like.

Why do you think a channel is blown?

becuase i get no sound out of it with any speakers ive tried like 4

Yeah, as long as your inputs into the amp are fine (so they work on another amp) and you have any filters turned off and you have no sound, it is probably blown.
