another LED footwell lighting thread - couldnt find what i was looking for

Hey guys I used those 2 videos in the 2nd post to install my under-door SMD LED strips. Here's some quick pics I took when I finished (dinner was served just as I finished).

Footwell lights

Thought I would upload my interior lights. Footwell front and rear are UV leds with red leds between the seats and doors.
I put a switch in via a relay so I can have them on with the headlights if I want but they also come on when the doors open.

surely its not illegal if parked to have them on? not sure of the laws over there though.

Wouldn't think so. Lots of prestige cars have footwell lights.

Its more so the colour too. Blue or red colours footwell or otherwise always attract attention.

Yeah True. I got pulled over in a supermarket carpark at night for blue numberplate lights (got off). They didn't say anything bout my footwell lights or even the uv behind the grill. In fact the copper thought the one behind the grill was cool. Mind you it comes on when the headies come on but i can switch it off too.

If you guys are after led's. Try... this site.... LEDs - flexible LED strips, LED modules, 12v LEDs they are called "OZNIUM" and are in the USA. Don't let that put you off. They post really fast, are cheaper than here in OZ and have an excellent backup service as well. I got all my leds from there and thats all they sell.....LEDS.
It's also about the only place where you can get UV leds too.
