I wonder when someone will issue a hydraulic conversion kit and we'll ditch all the electrical sensitivities. I can't fault the tried and proven oil pump driven hydraulics used in cars successfully for the last 100 years! Keep it simple.

I can only imagine the day when we get electric brakes... A truly scary thought!

I've driven countless VE's. In reality, I think I've driven probaly 10 VF's. Including my Redline, 2 VF2 Redlines, a VF SS, a VF LS3 Clubby, 2VF SV6's an LSA's Clubby and a GTS. So, I've been in a few of each. Without a doubt, personal preference plays a part. But, for me certainly the Redlines and HSV's have a superior feel. More feedback. That said, all the VF's turn in better than their VE ancestors. The feel is less mechanical. But for me, more confidence inspiring. I prefer it. If you don't, trade down to a VE. Hahaha

I received a reply from Holden recently on my question on whether Australian RHD steering units are potentially subject to a recall like USA Chev SS cars...

Hate my VF steering feel compared to our 2 VE's
I find the steering in my VF2 is superior to my old VE very low K Calais V.
