Gidday all,
Just got myself a new touch screen 2 Din dvd player for the car to replace the stock one in my 01 VX commodore.

Having a problem that i dont much like the antenna up all the time and with the stock one it went down when having a cd in and in this one it stays up all the time no matter what.
any ideas?
i dont mind having to keep it down 24/7 coz i dont use radio at ALL.

cheers

If you don't plan on using the antenna at all then just disconnect it.

Well not real easy. You can remove the splash guard from the passenger side front guard and unplug it there or pull the head unit out and disconnect the wire for the antenna.

Or connect it properly and connect the antenna wire to the head unit if it has it.
