Hi im looking to see if theres any Mechanics around Perth, preferably further south, who specialise in performance modding and tuning Alloytecs.
Wanting todo a few performance mods, but roughly wanting labour prices and if anyone near me specialises in this

You won’t get much more from it. A conservative budget $10-$15 to rebuild, go fast bits, exhaust and tuning. You’d be lucky to squeeze and extra 80kW out of it at best with twin turbo. Some only gain 5-10kW with a tune and cams.

The return on investment is pretty poor

Gotcha,
I know it’s pointless flunking a crap tonne of money into a v6 especially an Alloy, just getting a few ideas on what people have done with their alloys to take it from being stock and having a bit nicer of a ride.

That’s it. People aren’t modifying these engines. Not in any number. Limited mods available. These engines are pretty much 20years old and they still don’t have an enthusiastic community modifying them. The bang for buck is piss poor.
It’s indicative of engine design. This engine is powerful and torquey already for what it is.

Yes there were/are twin turbo version in the US and they boogey but to recreate that from what we have, you are dead set polishing a turd.

The guys saying they're absolutely admissble are going over the top.

Yes they're nor ideal but ram 6-10psi down it's throat and it will get up and boogie.
