Are vs spark plugs and leads the same as vy?

Hey guys, are the plugs and leads the same on a vs - vy?

I think the leads have a different part number, but I dont see why they wouldn't fit.

i believe there might be a difference in output from the vy coil pack to plugs than the vs coils to plugs so the leads for a vs might not be good enough.. although they are the same motor... i could also be wrong, but thats what i think anyway... better to just buy parts for your specific needs..

but then again i might be fine.. maybe no difference at all..

I'd be careful just in case like jason there said. Could be different alternators, coil packs, DFI, anything like that and they'll be different in some way

A spark plug lead is a spark plug lead, so long as its the right length it will work. The only thing you need to worry about is length, resistance, plugs and how insulated they are.

I bought a lead from pick a part off my mates old Carolla for $2 just to get me home because I broke one fart assing around with something.
