The GMC Ambulances used to have a cut out at ~150. Howe3ver if you down shifted on the auto you could bypass it.

The Mercedes has been known to do well in a straight line up around 130+.

However I'm not advocating excessive speed testing in Mergency vehicles at all!!

Although there is plenty we see that is terrible there is much we see that is rewarding like delivering a baby or saving someone at deaths door. It's plenty fun, don't let your friend be put off by the horrible stuff.

Is it an unwritten law amongst Ambulance personnel that if a subject has a broken arm to grab it and start moving it in different directions all the while asking "does this hurt"?

Why does ambulance O2 always smell?

You guys in the Emeregency Services do a great job, keep it up.

Do you think ambo's deserve more power of action? Has there been a time when there was something you could do to save someone but couldn't because of red tape?

When people are in trouble they look to us to help if we can. Somehow.
You focus on the fact people are looking up to you for that I suppose and capitalise on it and focus onwhat has to be done.

Blood and guts? Nah, you get too focused. Unless it's pretty gruesome, but even then... What's worse is someone throwing up in my ambulance!!! Then they are history!

Yeah Exactly :yeah: ! How else would I know???!!!! Only if someone fails the attitude test might it happen...

Medical grade oxugen has all impurities removed including water. Most of the smell is actually the delivery stuff like plastic tubing, masks.

Thanks for the pat on the back!!
