That'll just be the cam cutting it out, mine does the same if you don't have enough revs to take off.
Also if you do stall sometimes it takes a bit to start and that's just the cam again, something to do with engine heat soak, don't worry about it, you'll get used to putting more revs on.

Very nice man, those rims would have to be my fav of all. Shame they stopped making them. Those chev badges look so out of place though.
