B0980 power switch malfunction

Hey guys i have a vz sv6 2004, runs and drives perfectly fine, but i have a check powertrain issue coming up which didnt effect how the vehicle ran at all, i took it to supercheap and got a scan done and the reading came back as "B0980 power switch malfunction" im wondering if anyone can help me figure out what/where the power switch is?

I also have a fuel guage error that will come up before starting the car, i think was cleared by supercheap but has come back now if anyone knows anything about that, at supercheqp they said the only new/current code was the B0980 code for the power switch malfunction

Mate l don't know about BO980 but PO980 relates to Transmission lssues.
Easy one first would be to make sure that the fluid is clean and at the correct level.
Then a visual check to make sure that the wiring is OK.
Faulty T.C.M
Faulty Shift Solenoid.
You don't mention how many kilometers the car has done but a Transmission Service could be a good option.

There is no power switch? And if there is i dont know where/what it is?

PWR is the button at fault.
A/S is for your active select when using the paddles.

Mine only has a t/c button, no pwr button, its a manual if that makes a difference, ive only seen the pwr buttons in autos

I have no power switch i dont think, although my t/c switch works sometimes and sometimes doesnt
