bad fuel i think

Hey have a series 200 vl and started losing power yesterday, i took off from the lights with my foot to the floor and it went no where startede chugging. just had it serviced so pretty sure it's crap fuel and can't find the drain plug to drain it. :bang:

Couple of melbourne servos were selling bad fuel, there was a whole report on current affairs about it, apparently losing power and rough idle is the first sign. but if its chugging just first make sure the spark plug leads are in order and plugged on tight.

filled up at 7-11 where we always fill up, e10 fuel. we always use it and no problems till now

thnx, checked the leads an they r fine. not suprised bout the reports of bad fuel.

i would go back and say something (not that much can be done). im feeling for you i would be so annoyed. thank goodness i have lgp i would have switch it over gone straight back and complained. sorry i cant find my service book to look, i have never had the prob sorry i cant be more specific.

dang i type to slow...lol

lol thnx anyway have been in similar situation b4 with another car, jus have to find out how to drain the fuel then take it back to them an get my money back! yes not too impressed

not sure there is a drain plug on the fuel tank, could be wrong. maybe syphoning is the way to go?

No drain plug on the fuel tanks at all.
