BCM ECU PCM Linking?????????

i can't see why it wouldn't work as long as all 3 security codes match and i wouldn't bother with VIN numbers that's for later model cars but that's another story

i would do whatever loom that connects PCM BCM and IGNITION probably the main 1 behind the dash

Don't take it the wrong way but read your first post with an open mind
If someone knocked off your car from information I posted you would be pissed with me
Changing a loom in a modern car is a daunting task but looks like you may have no choice
It sounds like you may have a faulty key remote and possibly SDM, I would buy a genuine remote and programme
you will need the HSV tags though,
I would contact HSV or Holden and see what is involved in getting ISS loom which should come with new tags, part number is 92057792
or else your original idea of swapping looms fromm SS should work (with original computers??? I can't find any info)
swapping all your computers won't work until the ISS system is removed
you should be able to replace SDM module and programme without any hassles
and sorry for any offence now that I know "what you are up to" LOL

OK.....I reckon u maybe right SDM is getting changed today....can anyone tell me how to use my TECH2 to program the replacement SDM?

I have had a small win....Found the last owner of the GTS and he reckons he has the RED tag (WHOOP).................Only proble is that he reckons that the ISS was draining the battery in storage and he got it removed.....hmmm...
I have been fishing, and the indicator in the glove box is still there and flashes ect....there is a speaker up behind BCM, that i think is ISS related......I think this auto elec has just disconnected the ISS in places.......Where can I find an ISS loom diagram so I can check that the system is complete...... I just found a fuse type connector unhooked near fuse box under bonnet.....hmmm...my baby has been molestered,,,,,,,
Bright side....I have a VT clubsport that has a disarmed ISS in to......maybe i can rat it for any missing parts??? Ideas Gents......

There is no diagram that I can find
The ISS system is a black box hidden under dash hard wired into loom inbetween BCM and PCM

Right...Let me get this all out before i forget because there is some good info here

Contacted that cruise control specialists.........They used to officially fit the VR VS version of ISS.

Basically the ISS system was fitted on the shop floor to existing looms. There are 5 different variants (A,B,C,D,E) of wiring hookups with the idea to try and make all HSV's different in security linkage...........Pretty much everything in the above messages and links back to Dr Bob's Info.

So basically...to remove the ISS system you have to do fish behind your dash and bcm for a little black box with indiscrip wires coming out of it.

BCM.PCM.Ingition loop backs on loom.....I think I have found one loop back on PCM wiring on orange/black...........no sure yet though....So basically when u look there will be factory wire cuts and loop backs....remove loop backs, solder original wires backtogether.....ISS should be removed........

From what the mob at Cruise Control Specialists said that the ISS information is not stored in the BCM, or PCM......so the original computers should work once the loom is restored...Tech2 wont look for ISS signal anymore...
Again this is all untested......
I will be very suprised if it is that easy......But i am willing to have a crack....
I am sort of waiting to see what Dr. Bob has to say......I am not even sure how active he is.....I sent him a message...I wil wait and see......
For now I am going out and comparing my loom to the wiring diagrams and will take note of any differences.....and compare to other cars



This is all theory people...I am still think about the whole project......lol.

Now I have found a loopback plug in on the ignition ring, (def different to the SS wiring.....and the PCM cut wire is Rediash Black....Hmmm....The wires running from the ignition ring basically are on a plug sock in line with the ignition ring wiring.....red wires with black strip....look like they are running towards mode switch.....time to rip the whole bloody dash out.......supercheap ad here we go..

I am going to find this ISS......I just dont know what to do with it once i find it.......LOL

can anyone tell me what is going to happen if i remove all ISS connections from the loom?? I have 1 on the ignition.......easy fix......1 on the PCM loom just behind the plug,,,,(clean cut easy solder, original wire stillin place) .....now I am just looking for a BCM connection??? Does ISS conect to anything alse?? And can anyone confirm that the HSV modules DONT store ISS information??

Update...

I have found my Red ISS tag from the previous owner....

Now I just need a diagram or a description of the layout of the ISS system,,,Or a way to confirm that the system is complete and functional..
Any Ideas fellas?
