Im real new to this, only pickin up me car this week, and gettin me liscence this week aswell.
I want to put an exhaust system on it, to get a deep, throaty sorta 5litre kinda sound?
What are your thoughts between a Berkleigh 2.5" againt a Lukey 2.5"?
All thoughts and comments welcome,

Cannot answer for Berkleigh, but I was more than happy with the note from the Lukey 2.5 I had on my old VZ.

Had a nice deepish note once it warmed up.

Thanks heaps mate, i want a nice deep, sorta loud kinda sound, with minimal drone.
Lukey and Berkley seem to be same price, and most are saying just personal opinion, ill probably go Lukey.
Thanks again mate

Got the Lukey catback on mine, Sounds nice and deep.. Loud when you want it.. quiet when you want... I cant notice any drone.. Quiet as a stock exhaust when cruisen at 100 I think.

Never heard of 'Berkleigh' in my life..

I think its Berklee but in any case I had one of their systems back "in the day" on my HQ LS. Pretty basic system in those days and straight through 123F mufflers, LOL!
I didn’t know they were still around now though.

Why not get something custom made for an extra $200 so you don't sound like the rest of the v6's?

If you main concern is drone, then without extractors or being quiet, it's going to drone.

If you want loud and deep, go extractors but also go a rear resonator on the back - I mean you can take it off and it'll be loud as hell, but it'll drone like fk aswell.

Mine doesn't drone.. Period.

GothiccKid- yeh ill probably go Lukey, as all my mates have Berklee's and Redbacks, so ill go something different.
Crissis63- Berklee is also known as PEX, although everyone i seem to ask has never heard of either of them lol
DevilDrake-Yeh thats a good idea, i was consdering extractors, but arent they illegal defect on your p's?
Thanks for all your guys help.
Cheers

I do a Manta cat back that doesn't drone and is nice and deep. With the rear resonator, $260 shipped to your door. If you want it louder but you will get some drone, without the rear resonator $230 shipped.

And no, I don't think extractors are a defect on P's.
