turbo killer is 235/243 and way bigger than the howards 232/236 you were recommended

yeh to big good looking numbers but that cam biggest i will go is like 223/231

i think the 223/231 1800 to 7000 rpm the 219/227 1500 to 6700
so you would go the 223/231 over the 219/227 the 3 shops i spoke to said they were to small 1 shop said 224/228 the other said 232/236 and the other said 226/238

Yep I would, as you have the best of both worlds with that cam, good low/midrange but can still rev if you need it too.
Unsure why they would say the 223/231 is smaller than the 224/228...weird

yer probably didn't listen cheers mate i think thats what i will go with was thinking of doing the heads at same time you reckon i should go new or just get a bit of work done to the oem ones

nah standard are really good from factory, valves are already nice and big thats why I suggested the larger lift cams as they will compliment them nicely
get the ports and bowls cleaned up and shave them to get you up near 11.1 compression and she'll be really nice to drive

Maybe consider a good stally instead? cheaper and will give more punch out of the hole than a cam could provide. Or if you're feeling rich, both!
