Just wondering what your favourite car scenes / car chases are.

Ones comming to mind are

Gone in 60 Seconds
Cobra (stallone movie)
Cannonball run

Aussie Movies
Midnight spares (old aussie movie)
Chain reaction (The one from 1980 with Steve Bisley & Mel Gisbon [he was a mechanic at the start])
also cant leave out Mad Max series

mad max..

In the Mad Max movie where Mel is driving the semi loaded with fuel , if you loook really closely, you will see the director hiding between the pass. seat and the door..lol...it seems Mel had never driven a semi before..and when they crashed it, it was the 1st time ANYBODY had ever crashed a full fuel tanker for a movie, and survived.... a bit of a shame he had to drive a ford, but my contact says they didn't want to trash a Holden....so they used the flying vee ford.....and yes, Mel did ALL his own stunts......

Have to say Mad Max, the first one though.
Right at the beginning when they're chasing the night rider!
Car wrecks in that chasse are tops.
Especially when they total the directors bongo van! :yeah:
Didnt mind the Bad Boys 2 chase aswell, when they had all the bodies
flying out the back of the morge bus. . . .
