The cheapest, easiest, and most practical way would be to make a template, build them out of MDF, cut all the holes, then coat them in estepol/polyurethane (available in a can or pressure pack from just about any hardware store) which would effectively make them waterproof. Should be really cheap.

Just make sure the estepol/polyurethane soaks into all the pores of the holes and edges (or anywhere else you've cut) really well.

The coreflute looks good, but not so sure about it's rigidity when you're trying to stretch material over it.

Masonite is, without a doubt, the best for door trims and kick panels, I have used it since the 1960's.

Do not use mdf or chipboard (almost the same product), it swells and falls apart with water, whereas Masonite can get wet and it will not bother it.

possibly contact a timber yard or similar
otherwise I know bunnings can do special orders. have done it before for other things.
