fuel tank need to be empty or do I have to depressurise the fuel lines at all ?

Do I use just the standard GMH Delphi ones or whatever they're called, or should I put a certain type of fuel pump in ?

I've ordered a gregorys manual for the car from supercrap, just waiting for it to rock up, so until then, I've got to keep asking stupid questions :p

Too many to list......
My VX bags up really easy half the time I'm not even trying to get wheelspin just taking off quick. That's only a V6 too.

To depressurise fuel lines, take fuel pump relay out and run car till it stalls, tank doesn't need to be empty, but would be easier coz it'd be lighter if empty

LOL, yes thats a very good point.
If you've got a full tank of juice, there's 75kg waiting to fall on your face.

Well I asked a guy to do a service on my car, check it over and freshen it up.
Not sure if the plugs were done to be honest...

Might look into doing plugs, leads, fuel filter and fuel pump all at once.
Just so I know I've covered all bases myself.

If it's got bugger all power and won't go past 2k revs I'd get someone to look at it, sounds like its stuffed.
I'd check fuel pressure with a gauge before throwing a new pump at it, same for the other bits mentioned (check them)

Well if the plugs and leads are knackered then you'll loose a **** load of power, might even want to replace the coil.
Check the timing is right too.

IMO don't bother with the pump, get the pressure tested if you're that worried about it, but if the car drives fine don't worry about it.

Car Drives ok. It will rev over 2k fine, just doing a skid it didn't seem to want to do it. which I thought odd.

What sort of gauge do you check the fuel pressure with, and how is it done exactly?

With plugs and leads are there specific types people get or are any brand new ones pretty good ?
