Hey guys,

this probably sounds rediculous and will probably be simple fix but i cant work it out.
i need to replace my bonnet release catch spring and i just cant do it. im buying another replacement as i think ive bent the new one too much to be of use.

please help. a videa link would be nice if you can find one. or step by step guide pls.

take some pics so we know exactly what part you mean... is it the one bolted to the underside of the bonnet, or the one looped into the radiator support?....

Sounds like he's talking about the one in the radiator support, that the cable pulls to release the bonnet pin.

On my VN there is a plastic shroud between the radiator and the radiator support. When you remove this you can then open the loop that the cable pulls on then use pliers to take the spring out from the top of the support and twist and manipulate it out. Install in reverse.
