Boot release not working VH

I'm trying to open the boot via the yellow button in the glovebox but nothing's happening.
Usually, there's at least some noise when it's working but there's no sound whatsoever.
Is the actuator motor thing stuffed?
If so, where can I get another one?
Any help would be appreciated.

Was it working before?
Is there 2 wires going to the button?

test light and a friend to watch it.

if it lights, fried solenoid
if it doesnt, wiring issue.

For one man testing I have modified my test light to include a piezo buzzer makes it really easy when doing thens around the corner and you cant see the light


Usually the solenoids are quite reliable, if it is a wiring issue odds are its an earth on the boot lid, also I have seen the switches burn out.

I fitted one and it works when IT wants to.Need to earth the boot better i think.
