Ac delco from holden dealers. Cheap, long lasting and virtually dust free.

QFM HPX are Police pads, made on the GC at Nerang fn great, they suit my driving. I do country highways and twisty ranges in a 2400kg 620nm behemoth, driven hard through ice and snow and up to 48° on the plains.
I swapped out stock cardboard death traps for HPX at 10,000k two years ago, done 120,000k since then:
Replaced front and rear pads twice, still with original discs (fronts been machined once). So yeah they wear astonishingly well and stop even better.
Totally recommend them for fast spirited country and daily caner, not racetrack. They only cost around $100 per axle, hardly any soot, don't stink, and whisper quiet when installed properly with clips and shims.

Don't forget to have the discs inspected as they will/may require machining. If they have been machined previously they may be too thin (insufficient metal remaining) to further machine. They will be fit only for the re-cycle bin. You will need new discs as replacements. To install new pads onto discs that are badly scored or out of round would be a complete waste of money.
p.s. any worthwhile mechanic/brake specialist will NOT machine discs if they are below safe level.

Might also pay to have the brake fluid flushed and replaced if it hasn't been done in the past couple of years.

REMSA from GSL rally sport are my choice.

I have run Bendix, QFM and a couple others over time.

The REMSA are very kind on the rotors, they are extremely quite, they are excellent on cold stops and work just as good when stinking hot.

I bought an ex-Police VE Omega.
I spoke to the Fleet Manager: he had a strong opinion of Bendix Ultimates, and that's what he used on all cars under his control.
I had no complaints about braking, but the dust was terrible.
When it came time to replace the pads, I shopped around, and the Bendix Ultimates now claim on the packet "NOW WITH NEGLIGIBLE DUST."
So, I bought them:
not expensive;
brakes still work fine;
dust greatly reduced !

I looked at my car a few days ago, and the rear wheels have plenty of dust (still using the original Bendix Ultimates);
but the fronts were dust free.

I may be making the switch to Bendix Ultimates or CTs this time round as the QFM HPXs were a tad on the noisy side for me.

Has anyone had a solid go at both recently? From what I've read the Bendix have come a fair way in terms of wear and dust and just want to know if this is at all true.

Yep, I can vouch for it on mine, swapped HPX for Ultimate recently and am stoked at the vast improvement in noise, dust and grip. Only downside I can pick is they are eating my rotors up visibly but I am pretty hard on brakes and rotors are cheap.

How many Kms have you done With the bendix to notice the rotor wear?
