Brown Wire Identification

[Calais-Turbo]

Can someone please tell me what the Brown Wire is for in the photo ?

Red wires go to the Battery Possitive
Purple wire goes to Starter Motor
Black wires go to the Negative on the Battery

The Brown I am having trouble with
Any help would be great.

Looks like battery & starter power harness

Otherwise going to have to trace it up to fusebox to see what it goes to.

VK Commodore , originally a 6 now an efi 304 from a VN.

Yes I now have the second half to the Harness and Yes gtrboyy it is the Battery Harness Plug ,
I got the second half of the Harness from a VL as they are the same plugs.
The only difference is on the VL Plug instead of having a Brown Wire there is a Black Wire.
All the Black Wires on the VL Plug go to the Negative on the Battery.

This is why I need help with the Brown Wire from the VK Harness Plug.

Kinda think it's thick brown to ignition but not sure as been awhile since I've done wiring on vk & they differ a bit year to year & specs.

That's why I said trace brown wire into fuse box to find what it goes to...wiring diagrams are bit iffy on these.

Can't get to my vk to refresh memory...although I've hidden all wiring up under dash & trans tunnel.

Will try to have a look if you're still stuck.
