newp. You see them on semis but it is unheard of putting them on smaller vehicles. People just put up with the damage. Some of the pick ups have them but they are made of Aluminium and are purely show off factor :S

make a frame that comes up from the chassis and use a couple of bits or rail road for the cross ends, should be heavy and hard enough
