Are you doing your quotes online?

Reason i ask, is that i'm under 28 and insured with RAA (declared 3 previous not at fault claims, 2 of which were malicious damage so claimed on my own) - when i got a quote on line it was around the $3600 mark. BUT i phoned them and the price they gave me on the phone - 0 no claims bonus, all mods declared, all previous issues declared, fully comp - about $950 per year (so obviously i went with RAA!)

got my SSV when i was 19 and only paying $1600ish with AAMI. seem pretty good, especially with the repair work and that when i smashed her. not looking forward to it going up after the claim but

Im only paying $2000 a year with just car insurance I'm only 20.

$12 k worth of damage, currently being repaired
Will only be a write off if there is engine damage.

12k seems cheap, although no airbag and dash work might bring that down.

this is no doubt what you get to look forward too.
