[Ecotec] bulding a stroker

hey all im building a stroker at the moment and im stuck already in the early stages..
ive got a 2nd hand motor stripped it to a bare block and im stuck already what do i do where do i go?
its a vs ecotech btw

This is the point where you start doing allot of research.

You'll need to speak with an machanist. As the block will have to be chemically cleaned and machined.
Before you get it machined you need to sort out the internals so you can get the right tollerances.

thats what i need the help with on here. thought you guys might of had a starting point for me. ive found an engine builder already.

Speak to your engine builder, tell him exactly what you want to do with the car, weather it be n/a or boosted, so you can work compression ratios out. Obviously if you want to run boost a lower compression is on the cards, and if you don't then a standard ratio is. It's best to talk to someone who has had a LOT of experience with this stuff, then you can't go wrong. And then if all else fails you've got the lovely people on JC's

If you're stuck already, i'd suggest you take it to someone who knows how to build an engine...
