Buying First Car Advice- 1997 Holden Commodore S VS II Manual

Hi everyone, I'm looking to buy my first car and looking for some advice on buying a 1997 Holden Commodore S VS II Manual ute.
-274,976 km
-5 speed manual
-6cyl 3.8L Petrol
The dealer is trying to sell for $4880. My main questions are: Is this overpriced due to the age and km's? What would the common issues/problems be and would it be worth buying it for 3-3.5k?

274K+ is on the high end of the scale...That said your in NSW so most of the cars are better looked after than say here in S.A
V8 utes go for less than that price,V6 well the going rate around here is around 1500 to 3000$ depending on condition and km's
Honestly if you want a manual ute hit up gumtree, for that money you may pick up a nicer VU or VY ute

Wow that's expensive. That's VU SS pricing. I wouldn't pay more than 1500 for it with that many k's and just a v6.

Way over priced. Could easily get a VU SS for that, if you didnt or cant get an 8 being a p plater you could get a vz V6 ute for that price.
