Buzzing noise when accelerating on LPG only

Hi , whenever i accelerate there is a buzzing noise which seem to come from under the bonnet on the left side. This only happens while on LPG and only when accelerating. It does NOT happen while on petrol. The buzzing noise is worse in winter and less in summer.

I am thinking, it is something to do with the LPG converter which was repaired recently by LPG mechanic using a repair kit.

The car is Vy commodore v6 2002.

Any help would be greatly appreciated as to whether it is to do with LPG converter or something else. Thanks

Did you get this sorted? I had exactly the same thing the other day, except it was a stinker of a hot day. Buzzing was coming from the LPG converter. Seems to have stopped now, though.

I'm also experiencing the same issue, almost sounds like something is rubbing on the front left tyre!
I'm assuming it's something to do with the converter and/or the intake system. Not sure where to look though,

If anyone has any ideas.....

I have a similar issue but its more of a flutter sound like a valve is opening or closing inside the converter unit.
Its an ass as i have had it repaired under warranty and looked at 3 time. It started again.
No affects on driving, just an ANNOYING NOISE!!!.
My LPG system is a Sprint Gas Vapor Draw.

Does it sound like a small Piezo alarm?
It may have something to do with an imbalance in the system like an airlock.
Check for chilling or freezing of the LPG system, or it might be falsely reporting low gas reserve.

I'd ask your (Or any) LPG installer for their opinion.

Just reporting back, mine has stopped doing it...
I think it may have been bad gas, ran it down till nearly empty and refilled. No more noise! (touch wood).

Mine does this mate. Goes and comes. Hope for the best though
