cam help

Is it just me or should this be going better than that?

Ive got that same cam, and did 12.4 @110 with 1900kg on board with 3.07's with std ls6 manifold and std hsv extractors and twin 2.5". Also has 238rwkw convertor unlocked.

was that with slick or street tyres?
12.7 in full street trim is about right

same cam as you, average about 420-450km with a 4500 convertor. Have done 730km to the tank on the open road from my house to bendigo.

Thought i would just let everyone no that i went with the Come 232/242 Cam, as my mechanic recommended it and said i would make good numbers, I got it installed with 125 conical valve springs, 25% ud pulley and few others where included in package. Idles at 1200rpm-1400rpm when cold. Really lumpy and best sounding. Made 383rwhp and i could never ask for anything better. Really rough on street but all ways catches everyone's eye when driving past and even more when they see my P plate :yeah:. The torque is an amazing feeling. Can't wait to get it down to the drags.

400+ out of a cam on LS1 very doubtful
unless its a very happy dyno

Its quite good, but u do get what u pay for with convertors. Cheaper ones always flare way to much. Mine was $1600 all up from Circle D in the USA
