286 will probably need a new manifold, and shaving the heads wont give it enough compression

yeh well the cr will be fair down and the manifold is **** unless ur forcing induction otherwise u need atleast one of those cheap ebay manifolds

will be chaning manifold end of the year / start of next
yeh well the cr will be fair down and the manifold is **** unless ur forcing induction otherwise u need atleast one of those cheap ebay manifolds

i'll have to make do with the bannana's until the new one is on

To not go backwards in performance, you're going to need flat top pistons to go with it

but still having 2nd thoughts and thinking of going 284

i know someone mentioned stall converter, but has anyone mentioned that OP will need diff gears too?

no but ur right ull need some higher ratio gears
