Hi guys have a growler intake on my ve sv6 sidi an I was just wondering if a airhammer intake pipe fit onto it? And would it change anything? Power, sound, torque? Is it worthwhile since the growler uses the factory piping?

I have no idea about physical fitment, but I promise you this:

a) it wont change torque at all (not even 1Nm).
b) it wont change power much (you might get a 1Kw gain or loss depending on how the airflow is affected).
c) it might change sound a little if the pipe is a different length or width to what you are replacing it with (just like any pipe with air going through it- ie musical instrument or exhaust).

imo.... stick with factory piping.

I have the airhammer pipe if you want to give it a shot. Should be abit less restrictive and may see some sort of gain.

You will need something like a bit of PVC pipe to go in between, as the air hammer pipe won't reach the growler. It's about 50mm short or something like that from memory.

But it would have to have some sort of improvement wouldnt it? Replacing the stock piping that comes from engine, looks pretty terrible ha ha.
