Can you turn off the RED blinking Immobiliser light?

Apologies if this has been asked before.

Can you turn off the Red blinking immobiliser LED on top of the dash (in front of the windscreen)?

I have a dashcam with parking mode enabled but the blinking LED keeps activating the motion sensor, So the dashcam is constantly recording.
I have turned the sensitivity down on the dashcam to the lowest possible settings (without turning it off) but it has made no difference.

So my only option is to turn off the red blinking immobiliser light (if it is at all possible)

From memory the immo light and the light sensor are in the same spot so you can cover it but your auto headlights wont function.

you won't need auto headlights when you are parked!

Put a little tea-cosy over R2D2's head when parked!
