on page 13 in your pictures under the 150 column it has an x for change transmission fluid and filter.
this means it must be done at 150,000km

I know, but it also says that changing the trans oil and filter every 75,000 is only necessary under certain adverse conditions.
This was also covered in a previous post.

i must have missed it and yes all of the books i have looked at all have that same condition for around the 75k mark.

Older style transmissions required them at 10,000 to 40,000 depending on what car it is.....Just checked a few various manuals I have laying round here.

So this 75,000 +, stuff that....

Trans techs I've dealt with tend to suggest 65k intervals. The new full syn oils tend to last longer than old Dex III.

Unfortunately the point that I was trying to make about the Owners Handbook being overly optimistic in some areas was lost in translation.
Even working with the 150,000km
figure, some people will leave it until 200,000kms and wonder why the trans isn't working as it should.
Every 75,000 seems about right to me.
