So they are attempting to charge him without any actual evidence of him doing anything wrong, except that he was in a car club that they believe delibratley used to break the law?

I am seeing why having so many Labor states is sending the country backwards.

Trust Minux to turn something like this into an anti-Labor rant :p

I could be wrong, I don't bother much with these things, but aren't ACC one of those car clubs that everyone knows are a bunch of hoons? This stuff all ends up going before a court, so they'll have to have evidence up the wazoo for it to stick - I'm sure this wasn't "random targeting", they would have had it coming.

Easy to do when socialists are bringing down this country.

Reading the article it sounds liek they are trying to charge for being the head of it. It doesnt say they have evidence, just says basically charging the head o the group for what everyone knowing what they do.

If there wasnt more important crimes to be targetting out there, I wouldn't have an issue.

Hmm, I wonder if SA police are going to charge the heads of bikey gangs over there? They are a part of a group who go out to break laws, they continually break laws. How is it any different? Maybe car hoons need to also get in the pockets of police? Would certainly help. Or maybe they could start selling drugs!!!! Then they could help fund police retirements :D

Doesn't say what colour panties the lead officer was wearing either - I'm sure they have evidence. You keep going on about how you have a family member in the force, ask them if they think they'd have solid evidence before pulling out a charge like this.

As for other crimes, name one "more important" crime that isn't being targeted? Like health spending vs defence (and all the other portfolios) they have to allocate finite resources to lots of different issues, just because they are being successful solving one, doesn't mean they aren't working to solve others. There is only so much resource you can throw at a problem before it stops helping.

In can't speak for SA, but in NSW bikies are getting ****ed over right now. It's illegal just to wear the colours of certain biker clubs.

NO they wont charge the bikey leaders - they can have Harlies 3 times as loud as a V6 Commodore and not get "done"

He may just be, but he still has rights.

That media makes out like they were all doing burnouts ontop of pregnant women while selling drugs to school kids, destroying the ozone layer and planning terrorist attacks..

i've been on a few cruises that have been well organised, not so much any more.

We had a few TMU cars who were enthusiasts come along from point to point, they were always willing to chat and have a good time along with everyone else after all they had a fancy commodore with racing chequered decals!, no one got defected or fined that didn't deserve or provoke it.

Everyone was kept inline and nothing got out of hand.. there was 500 cars
The TMU also kept the other normal police from hitting the event hard with defects...

I'd like to see a media outlet that doesn't share the same one sided opinion that they call "FACTS"

Stamping out hoon behaviour will never work, they need to encourage safer driving.

Oh didnt see this thread when I posted mine, sorry guys.

Pretty bullshit, but I'm sure the car club brought it on themselves. Only hope it doesn't get worse and start banning every club no matter what they are doing.
