Car doesn’t crank over

I just recently got my engine rebuilt an I’ve put it all back together and plugged everything up and gone to turn the key and there is nothing no fuel pump no starter motor cranking only thing that works is the dash and when turned on comes up with check engine can some one help with what it possibly could be

Is the battery fully charged? Are the cables tight? Other than that, something is not connected, go through the harness and make sure everything is connected properly, especially the earths at the back of the head.

Yeah battery fully charged and terminals tight earth at the front of the heads on drives side is tight and also the one at the rear of the heads on passenger side one on strut tower is tight too and the earth that comes of the wiring harness that goes to the starter motor I mounted on the bracket to the air con compressor

Doesn’t come up with a code just check engine I plugged in a code reader put wouldn’t work

Kmart AKA My Car will scan it for $45 using a Snap-on or similar. I've heard SCA can scan as well but not sure how reliable the info would be.

I ran a wire from fuel pump relay and the starter relay to the battery and they I heard them both working

Is the loom plugged into the ECU properly? Got it in park or neutral?
