Car not starting

I have a vz wagon and it’s had trouble starting
RAA replaced starter relay and car fired then wouldn’t start the next day
Mechanic cleaned out the throttle body and air filter and car ran perfect
Hours later car was dead

Maybe get is scanned,
as this is a pathway to find a fix/solution.

Mechanic did a scan and it said it was all good

Maybe consider another Mechanic....

A scan doesn’t tell a mechanic what’s broken. It is only one part of the diagnostic pathway.

They still need to perform basic tests on other things as they would have years ago to come to a conclusion.

Common causes:
Low battery voltage in the key
Poor contact between the key and the metal ring.
Faulty sun sensor.
Crank angle sensor fault
Neutral Saftey switch fault
Starter solenoid fault.
Low battery voltage or poor battery health.

I spent hours messing with mine last night. Wouldn't start. Finally I realised I had turned the motor off with the transmission in Drive. True story. Double parked in a busy street and all.
