Hi wondered if anyone can provide advice on this.

I have purchased a 2009 ve sv6 with 191k on clock. The 2 catalytic converters have blown due to poor running condition. The fuel trims are excessively high at low loads and the injector pulse width at idle and cruise is well above what it should be.

Can anyone provide advice on this as there is no point replacing the cats until poor running condition has been resolved.

Could probably do with new oxy sensors.

How did you confirm the cat convertors are blown?

I took it to a mechanic who scanned and advised both catalytic converters not functioning. Both converters have no chemical catalyst activity.both rear 02 sensors reporting correctly
