Waiting for a call back on ball cocks. Bunnings were pretty exi, trying the plumbing shop to see if I can decide whether my blaster is worth repairing.

I found a SH belt drive comp. It would be ok but the bloke wants $400. This is pretty much the going price for anything that delivers over 180/200 FAD. Think I will wait until SCA have the largest DD they have on sale and grab it. I should be able to get it for $250 or better on sale if I wait.
On another note I have decided I will fix my blaster. I had a quick look at it yesterday and it's not as worn out as I thought. Looks like I only need one maybe two ball cocks and a brass adaptor. I got the adaptor today from Mitre 10 but they don't sell 3/8 ball cocks, and neither does Bunnings. I priced up a 3/4 at the plumbing supplies for around $11, thinking mine was around that size. Hopefully they have a 3/8 or can get me one.

I can always sound proof the hutch, if the neighbours complain..... lol
I forgot to switch my compressor off one day after doing some work. It held pressure all day until about midnight when it suddenly kicked in and woke up all the neighbours oops,

Lol I do that a lot. Neighbors have mentioned it when I've headed back to Town.

It always decides to kick in between 2am and 5am....

Not sure if anyone cares but I managed to source the ball cocks for the sandblaster. I probably only needed one but at $13 for two I thought grab the extra one just in case I need to replace the one at the bottom of the tank. I managed to repair the plastic hub on the wheel using a decent amount of JB Weld. I previously used Q-Bond but it wasn't strong enough long-term, especially when I needed 10x what I was able to apply as I run out of the adhesive. Looks good and strong now though. Two weeks time I will put it back together and get some sand and spray it into a bucket and see how my current comp keeps up.

I see SCA have 25% off the DD comp I was looking at. Think I might order it online. Picking it up might be tricky lol.

Ordered the 180lpm DD one for $230 and it's ready to collect. Hopefully they are ok with me picking it up in a couple of weeks.
