Check engine light

Hi Guys & Girls

Just got back from 3 weeks holiday , fired up SV6 Sidi motor , idled like a bag of crap & check engine light on , has done this before possibly from low battery voltage ???? Take for drive & it usually clears but not this time ??? Maybe longer drive will clear fault ??? Any ideas ? Thanx

You need someone to check the fault code for you. Google the code and it will give you all the answers. Even a generic tool should be able to get the code for you.

Clean the throttle body & make sure the MAF is clear of rubbish & is clean.

Charge the battery and replace it if weak.
