the only fail is you not knowing how to multi quote.

I tried to contribute some intelligent mature conversion into this thread but no one gives a ****.

Okay im a Kiwi so excuse me if Im wrong.

Holden is as much an Australian icon as a kangaroo, Just like Chev is as much an American icon as the Eagle (or whatever they use to represent themselves).

Now image a picture of a kangaroo holding an American flag, Now thats just straight un-Australian. This is why I believe people hate chev badges on Commodores so much. Its basically like saying Holden is American.

It's got nothing to do with Aussie pride or kiwi pride for that matter. It's the fact that it's a piece of plastic and people carry on about it like its the end of the world.

Surely u got somthing better to do

Cool , if it gets more Holden's to us up here in the USA. Like to see them put a Chevy bowtie on the grill of the UTE and El Comino SS on the sides and send it up here . Would love to have one.:beer chug:

Basically, the way I see it:

Chev badges on export Holdens (especially Holdens going to the US) = GOOD

Chev badges on Holdens in Australia = ****

Pretty sure there's a US member on here who converted his Pontiac back to a Holden. Dunno about the badges though haha

Yes there are a few members from the states that have done a full Aussie ve conversion with Holden badges. Everyone loves the holden conversion over there, throws ppl off. Its the price on importing the bars that's the killer for them
