Chip or not to chip

I honestly have no idea about these chips..
so just wana ask a few n00b questions
1. Does anyone have one and what do you think of them?
2. Is it worth it?
3. Are there better ways to increase power instead of chip?
4. Would i better off going to a professional place and getting a chip from them?
5. Is there any other better chips out there?

well lets put it this way....a chip is the second best way to increase your cars power......firstly you need an exhaust though and if you already have one then your set!

i got a gold98 powerchip for my vs, noticed the difference stiaght away, lot more in the mid range, and when i added the exhaust noticed even more.

vx needs to be reflashed, they dont have a memcal
