VZ Executive Ute
Hi all, long time reader, first time poster, two questions related to the above for my vz Ute;

- Firstly, after diagnostics have been run, can the message be cleared? If so how?

- Secondly, the diagnostic showed Po601, which I believe means I need to replace the PCM (or get a full set to avoid programming). Is the PCM and ECU the same thing?

Thanks in advance.

If you are a member of the NRMA or equivalent, call them and get them to attend your location. Report that your car is showing an engine code and as you don't wish to drive it and possibly cause damage, you would like them to check it for you. They have appropriate readers to identify the actual cause and can cancel fault errors.
