cold air intake mace engineering v6 vy

has anyone fit a cold air intake kit from mace engineering?? And if yes how is't?

I don't see what that would acheive over the standard airbox.
Maybe a little more air flow. Certainly no colder.

Soop, instead of having the stupid Holden air intake that goes over the radiator cold air comes up from behind the headlight (where i'll be throwing my cold air intake pipe with the standard air box). So this here should be cooler as well as allowing more air flow, however it looks to me as if hot air can still come from the front left side (between radiator cap and front of car).

And with a standard V6 you probaly wont notice much difference, although some people say there is.

Yeah...
I still reckon thats more "bling" than actuall function. My opinion though.

Better of getting a cam.

How much is that CAI kit?
Unless its $20 I'd say you're wasting your time.

LOL.
Mate, you could make the same thing yourself and get the same results.

I reckon you're better off running a pipe from outside the engine bay to the original airbox.

just fitted my cold air intake from mace and its very very better and i can fill ther is more power
