So I got a question to go with a plan I might have. On a L67 motor where does the coolant run through the inlet manifold? Does it just go in then out to warm it up? Or does it go through the inlet manifold to get to the thermo? My idea was if it’s only there to heat up the manifold would I be able to make a blank and not run that pipe? (Photos below of what I talking bout)

That pipe goes from the LIM to the heater tap, the heater core and then back via the heater tap to the water pump. If you are not using the heater core than the coolant loops straight back via the heater tap straight to the water pump. This is important as it keeps the coolant flowing when the thermostat is closed during the warm up cycle.

So is there a way to bypass it to the heater?

i don’t have that pipe it’s the one thing I didn’t get with the conversion and was just seeing if I can make a black cap for it and just by pass it to save me bending up a new pipe that’s all, and just thought if it wasn’t important and didn’t flow anywhere it would be better to keep the LIM cool instead of heating it with coolant

You can bypass the heater core but if you have any signs of blockage, letting it dry out pretty much seals it's fate.

Ideally you need it there. Regardless coolant flows under/through the LIM
