TBH most of the non diy industrial brands will do the job.

Agreed. Milwaukee/Hitachi/Makita/DeWalt will do the trick no worries. I'm a bit of a Hitachi fanboy but I'm not biased when it comes to the merits of the others. It's a bit more complicated when it comes to cordless though, because running battery packs for multiple brands is a a pita. My only cordless tool at the moment is a DeWalt 18v drill but it's old enough that if a decent cordless item of another brand came up I'd happily switch to them.

Especially Hitachi. :p

The Milwakee (cant remember which model) has around 1600nm torque.

M18 FUEL? <- that one. I haz.... either it removes the nut/bolt or breaks the head off trying. You need to be careful of your wrists when it bites.

yeah agree with the non diy industrial brands being the way to go.
can often mean getting a few extra tools down the track when you need them.

am rocking the Makita stuff myself (started with them ages ago and slowly expanded to just about everything else under the sun)
doesn't miss a beat.

basically once you pick a brand have a look at what else they have and what else you can get for them.

I have broken some pretty big bolts with mine, makes changing wheels a breeze.

My neighbours are also happier I own one as I don't fire up my 3 phase air compressor as often now :)
