how can i check the crank angle sensor on a vt?

has a slight miss at idle - have checked/replaced almost everything else on the engine.

it wouldnt b ur crank angle sensor i wouldnt think, if it was ud have problems starting the car and it even stalling on u does this only happen on idle? or under load aswell?

only at idle, fine under load.
Have replaced injectors/plugs/leads/coils, cleaned throttle/ isc /inlet runners.

anyone know how the fuel lines detach from the firewall? press fitting or a connection of some kind. Thats my next theory is fuel pressure reg

Could be the regulator, take the vacuum line off and see if you can smell fuel in it. Also see if the regulator holds vacuum by sucking on it then put your tongue over the fitting, if it doesn't hold the diaphragm is probably split.
