hey all,

my CV joints are a bit messed up, when i turn right the left side makes a knocking noise on the left side, it dosent dound drastic but annoying.. its only really noticable when drivin slowly... it like a poping or knocking noise n u can hear it from the inside of the car easily...

im sure its the CV joints cause my sista had the same prob with one of her cars...

do any of use have any idea what it is??
and also if its easy and cheap to fix CV joint problems??

thanks...

What sort of car do you drive. I doubt it would be a commodore if it has front CV joints. Best bet with CV's is take it to a CV specialist. They know what they are doing and will be the best people to change them to save any hassles further down the track.

Does'nt the rear of the independantly sprung Commo have CV joints?...though I'd doubt they would act like those on a FWD car. A lot of Cv's can be pulled apart - some you can put a new cage and balls in whilst others only allow for regreasing and new boots.
