Deano's VY SS Twin Turbo Ute

been a while since i been on here, here is an updated mods list and some recent pics.

Engine Mods:
5.7ltr v8,
twin turbo,
gentt turbo manifolds and dump pipes,
GTDW 2848 turbos,
custom made turbo oil and water lines,
aftermarket bigger fuel rails,
660cc injectors,
starr 84mm throttle body,
bosch 044 external fuel pump,
bigger intank fuel pump,
aeromotive A1000 fuel regulator with pressure gauge,
5ltr custom made surge tank,
custom ground comp turbo cam (very lumpy),
VCM double valve springs,
rollmaster double row timing chain,
hi flowed oil pump (pumps more oil round engine),
twin 3 inch X-Force system, twin 3 inch hurricane hi flow cats,
6 speed manual,
custom made heavy duty clutch able to hold 850rwhp,
lightened billit flywheel,
Ripshifter,
PWR alloy power steering bottle,
lowered on pedders springs,
genuine holden HBD 18' wheels brand new tyres,

currently has 450rwhp on only 6psi boost, is goin in for retune in few weeks
and boost bumped upto 10psi and should see 550rwhp.

did u have to do anything to the gearbox? or just the clutch?

Is it hard to find certain gears?

nah mate dont need to do anything to the gearbox, only just the clutch.

i have fitted a ripshifter and it slides straight into any gear easy.

finally got the tune done the other week, end up getting 520rwhp on 12psi with very safe tune.
it went awesome!!!!

but then it decided to snap a conrod and smash out both sides of the block. so not too happy about that.
i have pulled the motor out and now on the lookout for a 2nd hand ls1 to put in it.

also got a photo shoot done for custom utes magazine last weekend aswell, luckily before it blew up haha.

crazy lookin ute man ur mad havin a tt in a ute though lol i like the way uve got the cooler mounted as well its there if u look but it dosnt stand out for those cops to see

thanks mate, yeh cops have never really pulled me over, only for random breath tests but never anything about the ute.
