VX Berlina II
Hey i've had my car VX Berlina II 3.8 auto for a month now and if i ever put my foot right down to the floor or close to it you dont feel the acceleration kick in for a second or two whether ur going 60 k's or 20 k's or stand still it makes no difference, as this is my first car im not entirely sure if this is meant to happen or not, if Not then what could be causing this? would be nice to have it alot more responsive when you want to pick up speed fast?
Cheers

Mine doesn't delay that much, maybe half a second or so at the most, but mine's a manual.

Plenty, but it's gonna cost you. I managed to remove the horrid flat spot for the most part. Gearbox needs some work though.

drive another commodore.
if same, then it is just transmission, takes time to shift gears. its normal.

if different, check throttle body or vaccume . may be sucking air from somewhere just before fuel.

I found what can help is a exhaust system. The VX has a hiflow exhaust, has removed it some, the VY has stock its more noticed. but the VX was the same before i changed over the exhaust
