If given the choice the LSD has much more benefits than just leaving two black marks on the tar, "that is if ya want to kill the LSD quickly", the stock LSD diff will not last long if your going to give it hell.

But for those with a softer right foot the difference is huge especially on our roundabouts, picking up the inside wheel and losing traction will nearly cease with both wheels driving, great especially in the rain where the same throttle would make ya lose the rear end the LSD will track around the corners much better.

The difference between an open centre and an LSD is huge.

My old VK had an LSD (& M21) but due to a little excursion, I buggered the diff. Quick fix was to put an open centre in it. (A mate had one handy)

Be buggered if you could take of around a corner with any real throttle without the right rear just spinning.

Got an LSD back in it and everything was sweet.

I'd hate an open centre in the VS.
