You cant just do the cluster by itself, You have to do a full dash conversion. as delish said im sure i have seen a thread on here about it.

i reckon a vy-z dash n i mean the whole lot probably including down to gear knob n centre console Will all fit as the later model coupes / gtos had later model dashes . that would be a big job but the end would look great.

Rather than start a new thread I thought I'd post in here, with a 2001 vx ss would headers,a full exhaust system and an intake kit see me reach club sport performance levels?

all i got done to mine was a otr cai and a mafless tune, and i am up around clubsport performance now.

as slvrR8 and i were discussing the other day, the vx ss is lighter in weight then the vx clubsport.

atm his car would beat mine though with his mods.
but if his was still stock and i had the tune, i am pretty sure it would be even.

actually just had a proper look.
my vx ss with otr cai and mafless tune is 309 at the flywheel, as compared to a stock vx clubby is 255 at the fly.

hope that helps you out

Is that with a custom tune or mail-in? and what have you got as far as exhaust mods?

Your mate doesn't know how to drive lol

My VX SS auto anilates my best mates VE Clubby...would do it all day everyday...swap drivers wouldnt make a differance...all i did was change my rear tyre's to 265s (for grip) full exuhst (2 1/2 inch) OTR intake and MAFless tune (made 340rwhp) and the bigest differance 3.73 diff gears best bang for buck you will ever spend...Look after your car helps to regular servicing with good quality oils...you will end up with a very quick and reliable car for under 20grand...but in saying that at the end off the day i would still take the clubby home before the SS
