Do you eat the skin?

I was just preparing some vegetables for dinner and wondered, who on JC has what preferences for fruit and vegetable skins.

Add in any other food worthy of discussion.

My preferences:
Carrots, strangely I prefer peeled
Potatoes, either is fine
Kiwifruit, the skin is yummy!
Pumpkin, definitely no skin
Watermelon, No

Same as all of the above, just not kiwi fruit skin. I worked with a bloke once who used to eat banana skin. He was a bit weird so I don't know if he was putting it on for show at work or if he ate the skin and all at home too.

No Kiwi Fruit skin. That furry spikey **** is dangerous. Watermelon of course not.
Banana peel don't be stupid.
Pineapple is a disgusting fruit that we won't even mention.
Everything else skin on.

Chicken skin is probably the best bit of that dry tasteless bird.

Love the pork crackling! Best animal skin! (2nd is salmon)

Chicken is best done in an over bag or over a BBQ on a rotisserie (if you want it nice a moist).

Baked potatoes in their skins, cross cut and stuffed with herb & garlic butter served with 5hr slow cooked chicken with short stint in oven to brown the skin.

I don't mind garlic but I dare not eat it. Even a little gives me the most horrible reflux. I can't even have garlic infused oil without a chronic reaction within 10 mins.
